Privacy Policy

ArtSwipe is a free app for browsing public-domain artwork. Last updated: July 13, 2026.

What we collect

Nothing. ArtSwipe has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no server of its own. Everything the app learns about your taste — which artworks you linger on, like, or save — is stored only on your device and never leaves it. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report (stack trace, device model, OS version) may be sent to our crash-reporting provider (Sentry) so we can fix the bug. Crash reports contain no personal information, no identifiers linked to you, and nothing about which artworks you viewed.

Third-party services the app talks to

To show you art, the app requests images and metadata directly from the public open-access APIs of these museums:

• The Metropolitan Museum of Art
• Art Institute of Chicago
• Cleveland Museum of Art
• SMK — National Gallery of Denmark
• Minneapolis Institute of Art

These requests are ordinary web requests (like visiting the museums' websites) and are subject to each museum's own privacy policy. ArtSwipe sends them no personal information — only search terms derived from the on-device taste model.

Purchases

If you order an art print, payment is handled entirely by Stripe in your browser and fulfillment by our print partner; the app itself never sees your payment details. Your shipping address is used only to deliver your order.

Children

ArtSwipe collects no data from anyone, including children.
